Top Product Developer/Production Coordinator

Green Earth is currently looking for a creative, proactive Giftware Product Developer to join our growing product development team in London, Ontario and we want YOU!

Your Role:

  • We are looking for a creative and dynamic individual to join our growing design/development team. The focus of this position will be on developing and designing innovative and unique giftware, home décor and jewellery etc. to be manufactured for our brand. You must possess excellent time management skills, strong presentation and communication skills, a passion for creativity and a commitment to quality. You must also be detailed oriented as you manage projects through the entire creative and production process to completion.

You Must Have:

  • Possession of creative flair, versatility, conceptual ability and originality
  • Ability to prepare product and packaging design concepts for presentation
  • Prepare specifications for production including design sketches, models, dimensions, materials, packaging, methods of production, establish target retail, analysis of intended use and target end user
  • Passionate about pop culture and emerging trends
  • Strong writing skills with the ability to develop accurate, engaging and stylistically sound content consistent with our brand
  • Proven giftware product development skills as asset
  • Working knowledge of giftware packaging development
  • Ability to assess feasibility of design concepts from the end user point of view
  • Excellent attention to detail, organization and self-discipline
  • Critical, creative thinking and problem solving
  • Full understanding of the retail giftware industry
  • Proven experience dealing with manufacturing in multiple materials
  • Good editing and proofreading skills
  • Ability to meet deadlines without compromising accuracy, attention to detail or quality
  • Ability to travel within North America and overseas – EXCITING!
  • Proficiency in design programs including Photoshop, Illustrator and Indesign as well as general office programs such as Microsoft Word, Excel and email programs
