Product Information Card (included on the back of each frame): The Papilio ulysses butterfly is a large Australian swallowtail that lives in North Eastern Australia along the coast of Queensland. You can usually spot this butterfly in tropical forests and suburban gardens. It feeds on the Pink Flowered Doughwood and Melicope Elleryana tree. The Papilio ulysses butterfly is a striking blue and black. When folded up and perched, it blends in with the foliage; when it is in flight, it can be spotted hundreds of meters away due to bright blue flashes in the light as it flies. The Papilio ulysses is used as the official emblem for Queensland Tourism.
